Triple feed naaimachine Godfrieds atelier

Triple sewing machine

To prevent the wear of our linen stitching thread on the crotch, we have a new machine in use.
Until now we have used chain stitch where the cross-linking of the stitching thread is uncovered against the underside of the fabric and therefore more susceptible to wear.
Now we use a lockstitch machine where the yarn cross-linking is IN the fabric and will therefore wear much less quickly .
This machine has triple transport as you can see in the video. Under the fabric are transport teeth (like most sewing machines) and above the fabric you see the alternating presser feet that walk over the fabric, the needle also swings and pulls on the fabric, so you have "3" components that ensure that the fabric transported during stitching. This way of transport passes almost everything.
